Want to play like a Korean Gen Z? Part 2_Seongsu

October 16, 202516 min read

A tour starting from Seongsu Station to see, experience, eat and drink!

The alleyways of handmade shoe factories, where the spirit of the artisans still lives on, have now become a popular hangout spot for the Gen Z crowd!

Once an industrial zone, Seongsu-dong has morphed into a trendy neighbourhood packed with hip cafés, galleries, and concept stores. Cafés and restaurants that preserve the original structure of old buildings create a unique atmosphere, and fashion and design shops bursting with personality and galleries hosting diverse exhibitions are nestled in every alley. The cluster of handmade shoe shops and workshops, where you can sense the presence of the artisans, is particularly delightful. Adjacent to Seongsu-dong is Seoul Forest, a vast and beautiful park where you can fully enjoy nature within the city. It's perfect for picnics or leisurely strolls. With its expansive and stunning scenery, it could easily be called Seoul's Central Park. Seongsu-dong is beloved by Korean Gen Zers. Here's a recommended itinerary for experiencing it in true Korean style!
